- Your audio is used to process your book. Nothing else.
- We never use your audio to train AI or machine-learning models, and we never give it to anyone else to do so.
- We do not generate or clone voices.
- Your files are deleted automatically 48 hours after delivery — processing servers and cloud storage. Uploads that never become a delivered book are deleted 48 hours after their last activity.
- We do not sell or share your personal information.

What we collect, why, and for how long

What we do with your audio
We process it: measure it against published retailer technical requirements, repair the problems that are safe to repair, master it, and produce your report. That is the entire purpose.
The free preview. After the scan we master a short excerpt (about 30 seconds) of one of your chapters so you can hear the result before paying anything. It is made by the same process as your finished book, stored in the same private storage, and deleted on the same schedule as everything else.
We do not:
- use your audio, or anything derived from it, to train AI or machine-learning models — and we do not permit or provide it to anyone else for that purpose;
- generate, clone or imitate any voice;
- publish, licence, sell or share your recordings;
- listen to your audio beyond what quality control on your own book requires.
Human review: during the founding beta, Joel Thielke personally reviews each book before it is returned to you. No one else listens to your recordings.
Where your files live, and when they are deleted
Uploads travel over an encrypted connection into private cloud storage (no public access) and are processed on infrastructure operated for us by the hosting providers listed below. Everything about a delivered book is deleted automatically 48 hours after delivery: the audio files, the processed versions, the preview excerpt, the delivery package, the measurements and the report — on the processing server and in cloud storage. Uploads that never become a delivered book — abandoned, failed or incomplete — are deleted 48 hours after their last activity, including files that were rejected or only partly uploaded. Deletion runs on an automated schedule that tracks every stored file from the moment an upload begins and retries until cloud deletion is confirmed; you can also email us to delete your files sooner, and we will confirm when it is done.
Keep your own copies. We are not a backup service; after deletion your files cannot be recovered.

We use these providers only to run our service, and we send them only what that requires. Processing happens in the EU (audio processing) and the USA (storage, website, payments), so if you are outside those regions your files and details are transferred there to provide the service. A delivery-email provider will be added to this table before delivery emails are switched on.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, export or delete the information we hold about you. Email support@motivationalhypnotherapy.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we honor deletion and access requests from anyone, anywhere.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The upload flow stores nothing in your browser beyond the current page.
Children
ChapterMend is a business service for authors and narrators and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and customers with an active book are told by email about anything material.
Independence
ChapterMend is an independent service, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ACX, Audible, Amazon, Spotify, Findaway, Apple, Google or Kobo. Those names appear only to describe technical requirements.
